This has been an excellent year for giving away art. Just ask any PaperGirl event around the globe!! From Argentina to San Paulo and many places in between, artists and the public have been inspired, excited and affected by this unique art project. PaperGirl started 5 years ago in Berlin. Art is submitted from anyone, anywhere, collected and first shown in a gallery of some kind. This is an all volunteer run event, no money is exchanged, none of the art is for sale. The art is then rolled and distributed by bicycle in the streets for free. (See the video at the end of the post to get a taste of the experience!)
